The art of Italian cooking: pasta salad with borlotti beans
Posted on | June 7, 2010 | Comments Off
Hi, this is the forty fifth entry about the art of cooking pasta. In June we are going to tell you about pasta salad, a typical cold dish for summer that is made when it’s hot.
You can prepare it as a main dish for your family or for a special occasion.
Today’s post is dedicated to pasta salad with borlotti beans, a very delicious dish!
Imagine to serve it in your garden party or outdoor barbecue party. But it is an ideal course for a buffet too!
In the last years slunch or drunch (how do you call it?) is spreading more and more. You invite your friends on the Sunday afternoon and serve some snacks, then your friends stop for the dinner too … what about to plan a complete menu from afternoon to the evening?
Some sweet and salty treats, leavened cakes with no cream or custard, pastries for examples, mini pizzas, assorted savory tarts, salami and fruits … finally a tasty pasta salad or a rice salad! It’s a great drunch Italian style, a complete menu idea for a summer event.
We’re waiting for your comments about it.

Greetings from Italy
